Stalking Stocking Take #2

This stocking was inspired by Dandelions n'Dungarees pattern the Perfectly Pleated Pants, for the same challenge.

Pattern Revolution Stalking Stocking Challenge

This challenge arose from the debate about the line between following someone and stalking them. I had a couple of different ideas for this one. And I love the way they turned out! This first one is based on Scientific Seamstress/Sis Boom's pattern the Dana with a ruffly top with a bow and some contrasting fabric.

Craft Dash Again!

CD_17
Well, here we are again with another challenge. This one was kind of hard for me as I am drawn more to brighter colors than pastels. The colors for Craft Dash #17 were kraft, coral, and aqua. I went for my DCWV Playtime stack and a Unity stamp, oh and I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the butterflies on the back paper. Please excuse the background, I still need to clean up from scouts last night. This card took me 8 minutes 43 seconds to make.

Craft Dash and Stack-a-holic

So you know how much I've loved doing the Craft Dash Challene? I just had to participate this time. I loved the colors and I had the perfect stack of papers to use. So of course I checked out DCWV April Stack-a-holic Challenge as well. And no, I was not within the 10 minute time limit, just outside it at 12 minutes-my stamp did not want to ink correctly and I had to change stamp pads. Yes, that is a graph notebook, I did warn you that I love to do notebook covers. I used the Cherry Limeade stack from DCWV and a Sunbeam Stamp that I love. It says "Dance like no one is watching, Sing like no one is listening, Love
like you've never been hurt, Live it's heaven on earth. Mark Twain"

An attempt for some challenges

I was leaning toward the colors of the last craft dash
as in the previous post with this projects, but
something feels off and needs to be added to
this one I think, so it won't go towards that,
but I was thinking about DCWV Stack-a-holic
challenge that inspired the layout of it. And I do have some time to play with it for that. I used Cafe Mediterranean from DCWV for the papers and a stamp form Sunbeam Stamps. I was thinking along the lines of a box for treats for a "get well" gift or a "thinking of you" type of thing. Anyone have some ideas? Oh and the top took me 9 minutes and 43 seconds to cut, ink and glue together.
